  本文阐述了利用航天遥感影像进行1 : 25万地形图数据库更新的必要性和可行性，在对spot和landsat遥感影像特性进行分析的基础上，对航天遥感影像的系统变形、辐射量校正和影像增强与彩色融合等内容进行了认真研究，并在此基础上对航天遥感影像数字微分纠正、影像融合、地物判读、数据库数据格式转换、基于遥感影像的地形图修测等方法进行了具体试验，提出了利用遥感影像进行地形图修测的具体方法和作业流程。
